A brother who works as an auto driver had to borrow about ₹2 lakhs for his daughter's marriage. Since then, he has been paying around ₹10,000 every month as interest on the loan.
Over the past two years, he has paid more than double the amount he originally borrowed. Yet, the loan amount is still the same. This is often the reality of interest-based loans. On top of this, his medical expenses are increasing, and he is struggling to manage his expenses. He is deeply worried.
